The Secret Ingredient

Real is better than fake every single time.

In the age of artificial, people are craving authenticity. They can smell performative and fake a mile away, and they subconsciously put their guard up.

If you're coaching, leading a workshop, or working with people in any format, the more "realness" you can bring, the more successful you'll be.

I recently realized that I've spent my whole career pushing back against fluff and fake. Anytime I lean into real and authentic, I find success.

I really don't like doing anything for the sake of checking a box.

I can deliver a canned workshop, but I don't like it. And I think it's a complete waste of time for everyone.

I want to guide people into feeling something real. Challenge them to think differently, and bring them to a new idea. I believe that's what people want to experience. It's the key in a workshop or coaching session that really offers transformation.

I’ve been leading workshops and retreats for years, and people always rave about the connection and safety they feel in those circles. I knew it was true, but I didn’t understand what the ingredients were. I could create a perfect environment but I didn’t know what recipe I was following.

The more I study authenticity, the more I see that it’s the secret ingredient. When I show up simply as myself and bring honesty and vulnerability to the space, the magic happens.
